Our extra-curricular highlights
Student leadership and public speaking
Students at Telopea Public School have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of leadership, public speaking and debating activities. Our student leadership team and student representative council actively participate in decision-making at school on things which shape their educational experiences.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. Opportunities each year may include choir, dance or recorder group. The school actively seeks involvement in performance opportunities such as the Festival of Instrumental Music at the Sydney Opera House.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world. All students have the opportunity to attend school excursions each year and a 3-day camp for Stage 3.
